I was walking in the woods this past weekend and, as I stepped over a decaying log, I saw something green poking through the wet soil.  It is mid-February here and the Daffodils are just starting to emerge.  Each year, they are the promise to me that the long, cold dark Winter will soon give way to a lush and green new Spring.  In a few days, those emergent plants will regale us with a bright yellow flowers and will soon be followed by other colors as the season evolves.

This reminds me of life too.  Seasons come and go and the world changes, but just as Fall signals the end of a season, the Daffodils point to a renewed but different season.

We all have joys and struggles in life, goodness knows I have had my share of those, but life has a way of renewing things.  Maybe different than they were last time, but NEW none the less.  I hope as your season of renewal dawns, you will be able to see the possibilities that eluded you in the last.
